Back to School Prayer Experience
This Sunday, Sept 13 - meet after 2nd Service on the patio for lunch.
Sack Lunch Sunday is one of the ways we bring parents together to be encouraged and equipped in discipling their kids at home. Bring a sack lunch and we'll eat together.
THIS ONE IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT: normally Sack Lunch Sunday is for families with kids 5th grade and under. This month it's Preschool through High School. So all parents are invited to bring their kids!
We wanted to create a prayer experience to mark the beginning of a new school year. There is no doubt that school is being talked about a lot in your homes. A phrase we carry with us here at Ocean View: "If it's worth talking about, it's worth praying about." So at the beginning of a new school year we want to give your family the chance to pray through four stations together - Schools, Teachers, Classmates, and a Family Blessing.
We will meet out on the patio after the second service around 11:45am to eat together. Then once we're done eating we'll move to the Sanctuary for the Back to School Prayer Experience.
